Coolamon Grand Designs

Coolamon Shire is getting ready to host a new event on Easter Saturday 30 March 2013, Grand Designs. The day will feature a number of local buildings including the remodelled Up-To-Date Store and a number of other unique buildings to highlight environmentally friendly & innovative design and local builders.

You have seen the TV shows, now is your chance to be a part of it; Coolamon-Style. There will be 10 houses, showcasing everything from environmentally friendly designs, remodelled heritage buildings, modern architecture and more.

Bring the family along to the local Rotary Community Markets in the Up-To-Date Store & environs, be serenaded by buskers along the street and experience the Hot Rods from Narrandera’s Show’n’Shine, plus much more.

Tickets are available for $15.00 from 10 am at the Up-To-Date Store at the Rotary Markets, with money raised to go towards the Coolamon Men’s Shed. Included in the price of the ticket is a handbook outlining the details of each house, including plans, significant features, images and more.
