Ardlethan Picnic Races are on this weekend!

Ladies, get your hats ready! Gentlemen, pick your bookie! It's the 54th Annual Ardlethan Picnic Races this Saturday the 23rd of March at the Mirool Creek and Ardlethan Race Course.

Every year hundreds gather in Ardlethan to enjoy the annual Ardlethan Picnic Races. This year the Ardlethan Picnic Races celebrates is 54th year! Enjoy lunch by the Mirool Creek before the action begins at 1:30pm when the first of six races leaves the gates.

Ladies, it’s time to get your race wear out for Fashions on The Field! With $1,200 worth of prizes up for grabs, it’s going to be a fashion frenzy. This year, the Ardlethan Fashion’s on The Field is proudly sponsored by, the Ardlethan IGA Supermarket. Let the judging begin!

Gentlemen, there will be Metropolitan and Local Bookmakers available for you to analyse your odd’s and make the most out of your wagers! The Ardlethan Horse Races will also be broadcasted on the Sky Channel this year.

Enjoy a BBQ snack and a drink at the bar, while you watch the races. There will also be a raffle held, prizes include an Entertainment Package and a White Goods Package to the value of $2,000! One lucky attendee will also win $50 worth of scratchies as part of the Lucky Gate Prize.  It’s a win, win day!
