Visit Coolamon

There is so much to see and do in Coolamon, and with the fantastic range of food and accommodation options, it is well worth an extended visit.

Coolamon’s main street, Cowabbie Street, is simply enchanting and a State Heritage Listed Precinct. Relax in the central gardens and soak up the atmosphere of yesteryear or stroll through our country style stores.

A visit to the Up-to-Date Store is a must. Housing the Garth Jones Collection (farming heritage), Mavis Furner Collection (textiles), a fully functioning Lamson Cash Machine and many travelling exhibitions, the Up-To-Date Store is well worth a visit.

Located next to the Store is the  RSL Hall  which boasts a premium standard  war  museum and is home to the Fosse Diary. The diary and other items  from the RSL exhibition are highlights of the Museums of the Riverina Significance Project.

Coolamon’s good range of accommodation options and eateries exude the warmth and relaxation of country hospitality and will make you feel very welcome.
