Inaugural Bale Out Ball a huge success!

The inaugural ball was held at Marrar Memorial Hall on Friday 4th July 2014. The aim of this ball was to support Australian Agriculture and provide a social outlet for farmers , their families and rural communities . The night's theme was Christmas In July and it went of with a BANG.

As the buses rolled in from Rannock , Coolamon and Wagga the nerves set in hosting the FIRST EVER BALE OUT BALL, but our wonderful MC Anne Delaney helped to settle any nerves we had as well as relaxing everyone to their seats. Everyone was served up a beautiful 3 course meal consisting of trio of dips for entrΓ©e, baked dinner for main and desert bar for desert there was not a empty tummy in the building.

As  the evening progressed guest speaker Owen Finigan spoke beautifully about life with the Wallabies, his irish background, family, as well as the fantastic job he does as CEO of Snowy Hydro Southcare and what a important job it does for our area as well as Southern NSW.

Silent and live auctions ran all night with the majority of guests going home with something. The band Silverhair kicked off with their first song and the dance floor was alive with everyone having a great time. You know it is a good night when the dance floor is full on the first song.

The night went really quick and no one wanted to go home. People were so appreciative that we had taken the time to think of organising transport especially to more isolated areas.
