Celebratations at Coolamon NYE Street Party!

A large crowd celebrated with live music, yummy food, fun kid’s activities and a spectacular fireworks display, Coolamon’s NYE Street Party was another success. Celebrating its eighth year, this free community event was the place for families and friends to ring in 2019.

Attendees were able to sit back and watch the sun go down, while listing to live music from Who’s the Boss party band. The main fireworks wowed crowds with an impressive show. The kids zone was a huge hit with plenty to keep them busy with jumping castles, face painting, petting zoo, roving characters, balloon animals and play on wheels.

The Coolamon NYE Street Party is proudly supported by major partners Beyond Bank, Coolamon Rotary Club and Coolamon Shire Council. The event also has a number of important community sponsors which contribute to the success of this wonderful event.

Event organisers, Jessica Inch and Laura Munro, are pleased with the crowd numbers, atmosphere and seeing the main street come to life. “We really enjoy this great community event, this was the first year we had a party band and it was a hit. This event celebrates our community and provides an opportunity for residents and travellers to celebrate locally.”
