Country music fans and budding artists, the second annual Ardlethan Country Music Festival & Talent Quest is on this Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th of April. There will be concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings, and on Sunday morning with guest artists including Tom Maxwell, Johanna Hemera, Grant Luhrs, Reg Poole and local band “Blazin’ Saddles”. Camping is available onsite.
This year, ANZAC Day Dawn Services and Marches will be held across Coolamon, Ganmain and Ardlethan. For details on the Diggers Breakfast and the events happening in Coolamon, For further information, phone Coolamon Shire on 6930 1800.
Coolamon’s ANZAC Day Race Meeting Carnival of Cups will follow the ANZAC March with gates opening at 11.30am. Held at the Coolamon Showground, the event includes a flag raising ceremony, Fashions on the Field, live entertainment and the feature event the Coolamon Pacers Cup!
If you'd prefer to spend the afternoon onboard a heritage train, the Southern Aurora will be leaving Coolamon Railway Station for a special trip to Junee and back shortly after 12.45pm. This unique heritage rail experience is not to be missed!
