The Ardlethan German Beer Festival will be held from Friday 26 to Saturday 27 of July. This fantastic festival is part of the inaugural WinterFest that will showcase a different town in the Coolamon Shire for the month of July.

In true Ardlethan style, the community has come together to deliver what will be an event of the year for the Coolamon Shire. The Pretzel Production Line was well under way last weekend when a group of willing volunteers rolled and twisted enough dough to make over 100 pretzels for the upcoming German Festival.

In between the pretzel making they also managed to make at least 80 German dumplings for the main course at Friday evening’s concert, which is shaping up to be another fun-filled night of entertainment and reverie.

“Only another 300 hundred pretzels to go’, said volunteer Del Garrett, “so we will have to roll up our sleeves and dive into the pretzel dough again.”

The Ardlethan German Beer Festival will present two shows on Friday 26 and Saturday the 17 of July, which will be accompanied by a fantastic German inspired meal. Tickets to the Friday evening concert are selling extremely fast, so just a word of warning to those who wish to attend, please contact Di McDermott on 6978 2055 as soon as possible to make sure of a place at the table.
