Red Nose Day – Rural Style!

On Friday 29 June, Ganmain hosted the Ganmain Children’s Expo: Red Nose Day Rural Style event which celebrated 25 years of Red Nose Day.

Children’s service providers, health professionals and other kids info was showcased with product samples, a free sausage size and children’s entertainment also adding to the atmosphere.

Children enjoyed the Old Kentucky Animal Farm, Story Time sessions, art and craft activities and face painting while parents gained valuable information on the services available to them in the Shire and surrounding area.

Red Nose merchandise and raffle tickets were sold on the day, and Ardarma’s Coffee House also donated a portion of the day’s profits to the cause. Over the course of the day, inexcess of $1,500 was raised for SIDS and Kids – a fantastic community effort!
