The Coolamon NYE Street Festival is an event that brings people and communities together in a positive way to celebrate the New Year.

We spoke with Mitch Robinson from Coolamon Carpentry about sponsoring this year’s event.  “Being such a predominantly based farming community events like the Coolamon NYE celebrations really showcases our family friendly atmosphere and just how close knit of a community we are. When times are tough like they are currently with the drought, it is vital our town can host events like this. They play such an important role for the emotional and psychological role in lifting community spirits and bringing the communities together in adverse circumstances”.

Celebrations will kick off from 6pm in Coolamon’s main street and will include a range of exciting entertainment options – Live band, food vendors, kids activities and fireworks.

I’m sure you’ve seen their utes around town. Coolamon Carpentry provide a range of services within the Coolamon Shire and region with renovations, extension and restorations.
