The NYE Party Went Off With A Bang!

Coolamon ended 2012 and welcomed 2013 with a bang! The Coolamon New Years Eve Party was a fantastic success with over 2000 attending the event this year!

Guests arrived to the sweet sound of the accordion’s floating through the town from the Coolamon Railway Station aka Tilma Management Head Quarters.

The night was themed with tradition with The Southern Cross Aurora Train pulling into the station early in the evening adding an element of heritage and wonder to the night.

The night had a relaxed feel with families and friends gathered in Cowabbie Street to enjoy the festivities. Everyone was able to capture the magic of the night in the photo booth, which was a great hit! Parents were able to relax as the kids enjoyed the jumping castle, the old Kentucky Animal Farm and a special visit from the magical New Years Eve dragon parading through the streets.  

True to tradition, Coolamon New Years Eve Party put on a fantastic fireworks display at 10pm, which really topped off the night. Local musicians provided entertainment as families and friends counted down the minutes to welcome in the New Year!

We hope 2013 is a memorable year filled with excitement and adventure! We are now counting down the days until we can gather again in the streets of Coolamon to celebrate the end of what we hope will be a fantastic year!
