Join me for a relaxed and creative workshop exploring rural landscapes with a focus on haysheds and farm sheds - those beautifully simple structures full of charm and story.

In this session, we’ll work on watercolour paper layered with textile collage to build rich surface texture, before developing the landscape using soft pastels.

This process allows for expressive mark-making, layered colour, and a lovely balance between control and spontaneity. Perfect for all levels—whether you’re new to pastels or looking to explore a fresh approach.

What we’ll explore:
• Building texture using textile
• Creating depth in landscapes
• Working with soft pastels over mixed surfaces
• Simplifying shapes to capture the essence of rural scenes

All materials provided. Just bring yourself and a willingness to experiment (and get a little messy!).

Morning tea and a light lunch is included.
