Mixed Media Artists Book: Combine Drawing, Stamp, Stencil, Found Object And Collage To Create Your Personal Visual Narrative

Day One Discover experimental drawing and print techniques to create pages of unique imagery of line, shape, colour and texture to express your personal response to the natural world.

Day Two Create a Concertina artists book to document your experiments and make your visual narrative unfold.

This workshop is suitable for everyone including curious beginners. No printmaking experience required. Just have an open mind and be ready to find your creative self.

Have fun exploring drawing materials, printing inks, gouache, paper, and plant materials.    

All materials and equipment will be supplied, including a collection of natural objects - seed pods, leaves, sticks, flowers, buds, etc. ( feel free to bring your own to add to the collection ).

Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Bring an apron, disposable gloves, a water bottle and lunch.
This workshop will accommodate FOUR-SIX people.

I am Merrin Glasgow, your tutor, both visual artist and art educator of thirty years. Passionate about fostering creativity, and facilitating discovery of visual expression and abilities through experimentation and knowledge.
