What you'll do...

In this embroidery workshop, we will be diving straight into the world of thread and colour as you learn an ancient skill that you can use to update or create something new.

We'll begin with the elements of design and explore different types of stitches that can emphasize the different elements. During the workshop you will learn the basic stitches you need and how to use them in different combinations.

Think of embroidery as painting with thread!

You will go home with your hand-stitched samplers, plus skills to embellish your next project.

What is provided....

  • Embroidery hoop

  • Range of threads

  • Scissors

  • Stitching needles

  • Swatches of linen for your samplers

  • Printed instructions to take home.

What will you take home.... your piece created during the session and the skills you need to create pieces for yourself.

What to bring... Yourself!
